Mural of Lara Croft (Gone)

Field review by the editors.

Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Lara Croft, the blasting, smashing protagonist of Tomb Raider, first appeared in 1996. This fading mural, by artist Jeff Jackson, probably dates from not long after that, maybe around 2001 when the Angelina Jolie film came out. Lara appears to be busting out of the Lazerport Fun Center, guns blazing. The artist made her right thigh twice as wide as her left, although most Lara Croft fans won't care.

The mural was reported as painted over with a new character in 2019.
