American Gas Pump Heaven Museum (Gone)
Dover, Ohio
Roger Ramsey was a car collector who also started acquiring gas pumps in the 1970s. Eventually it got out of hand. By 2010 he had 60 vintage pumps from 1907 through the 1950s, and that's when he decided to share them with the world.
The modest-sized American Gas Pump Heaven Museum doesn't have quite enough floor space for all of Roger's relics, so he built a replica Sohio gas station in the parking lot and outfitted it with vintage items from his collection -- which includes not only gas pumps, but nostalgia and petroliana such as old Coca-Cola and service station signs, a cigar store Indian, a miniature State of Liberty, etc.
