ShoeZeum (Closed)
Las Vegas, Nevada
Certified by Guiness World Records as the largest shoe collection in the world -- and all exclusively never-worn Nikes, over 2,500 pairs. It's the obsessive life's work of California lawyer Jordan Michael Geller, who originally opened the ShoeZeum in San Diego, but moved it to Las Vegas in 2012 because he wanted more people to see it. The collection includes sneakers that look like lobsters, thigh-high shoes designed in honor of the 1980s Michael J. Fox movie Teen Wolf, and only one non-mint pair: a game pair worn by Michael Jordan, for whom Jordan was named by his equally Nike-obsessed father. 23 themed exhibits based on design, including superheroes, types of candy, and holidays.
The Nike company has nothing to do with it.
