Big Olive.

World's Largest Olive

Field review by the editors.

Lindsay, California

Lindsay was once known as the "Olive Capital of the World." It was home to Consolidated Olive Growers Co-op, and before that an olive plant. A large olive sculpture stood at the Co-op, and was eventually moved to the Olive Tree Inn. After the Inn was sold, it became a Super 8 Motel.

The olive perseveres, accessible in the parking lot and always ready to garnish a giant's martini.
