The Big One: Spitting Fish.

The Big One: Spitting Fish

Field review by the editors.

Austin, Texas

Artist Bob "Daddy-O" Wade built a giant leaping fish, "The Big One," for the rooftop of an Austin restaurant with the same name. When that business was sold, another restaurant -- The Hula Hut -- bought the fish and put it in the Colorado River next to its waterside tables. For $2.00 you can "feed" the fish, which makes water spurt from its mouth and frothy bubbles emerge from under its tail.
