Bonnie and Clyde's Death Guns, Clyde's Watch
Waco, Texas
The sky-high prices attached to Bonnie and Clyde artifacts -- especially those found in the couple's Death Car -- make the Texas Ranger Museum cautious about making any claims about its impressive collection of Bonnie and Clyde booty. The Clyde pocket watch, for example: was it the one taken from his bullet-riddled body, or some other watch that was lost or confiscated during his many run-ins with the law? The Museum is satisfied that it did belong to Clyde, and leaves it at that.
As for the many guns in its display: two were reportedly taken from the Death Car, and two -- including a machine gun -- were used by the berserk posse that filled the car (and Bonnie and Clyde) with bullet holes.
