Tire Man Mural

Field review by the editors.

Barnesville, Georgia

This professional mural looks like art from the 1940s, but it was painted by A.R. Henry in 2014. Tire Man wears a snappy service station uniform and cap -- labeled "Tire" -- and points with one hand to the wide whitewall he holds in the other. He grins with pride. Next to his head, the artist has noted a Bible quote. It talks of honoring God with your wealth, although we don't think Tire Man is volunteering his whitewall as an offering.
