Crazy Year-Round Christmas House
Bronx, New York
Every year since 1974 the Garabedian household has created a raucous and elaborate Christmas display in its yard, but it's worth a visit year-round.
Off-season, you can avoid the crowds and still see an eccentric, over-decorated pink abode featuring gilded reindeer, cherubs, and horses with gold manes and hooves. During the holiday season the grounds are packed with mannequins depicting both saints and celebrities. For years the home's kilowatt-sucking Christmas lights were notorious for causing neighborhood blackouts, but LEDs and smart technology now keep everyone's lights on.
