Wild Things of Kentucky: Goats on the Roof

The "snake pit" promised on the sign for Wild Things of Kentucky is a disappointment, a glassed-in room with a couple of bored-looking snakes and a mortally terrified dummy sinking in sawdust quicksand. But this gift shop attraction also offers a comedy photo-op outhouse ("Sitty Hall"), and an instructional exhibit on wild animal crap identification. And for 50 cents you can buy a cup of food and hand-crank it up to the goats on the roof. It adds up to more of an effort put into the place than most gift shops, so give them credit for that.
