When the Secret Caverns lodge burned down in 1995, most believed it was the end. Secret Caverns would not be back for another season. They were wrong.

Both caves have long since coexisted amicably. They've both had their fiscal ups and downs. But some Secret Caverns' billboards still bear echoes of the historical conflict....
