Skeletons: Animals Unveiled!

Field review by the editors.

Orlando, Florida

Built by the same bone-minded people who created the Museum of Osteology in Oklahoma, who clearly had skeletons to spare. Here, the bones are mounted less clinically, with "action poses" such as a dog leaping for a bird and a raccoon eating a box of Milk Duds. It's like viewing the world of nature through X-ray glasses.

Several mounted human skeletons are on display as well (People are animals, too). And as with the Museum in Oklahoma, this one opens with a glassed-in display of flesh-eating beetles banqueting on real animal skulls.
