World's Last Commercial Morse Code Station

Field review by the editors.

Inverness, California

The old KPH station was shut down in 1997, but former employees and radio-lovers revived it to broadcast Morse code. The "Night of Nights" event happens every July 12; that's when the KPH crew turns on everything, puts their fingers on the the telegraph keys, and broadcasts dots and dashes to ships and receivers worldwide.
