Field Station: Dinosaurs

Field review by the editors.

Derby, Kansas

14 sun-baked acres with over 40 twitching, roaring dinos. The attraction is mostly designed for young kids, with goofy live shows (including a sing-along and a "Dinosaur Dance Party") as well as a "Dinosaurs After Dark" option for a slightly older crowd. Junior paleontologists who take their dinosaurs seriously may find all of the embellishments a bit too cute, but the robot dinos themselves are impressive.
