Million Dollar Cowboy Bar: Bitten Bear
Jackson, Wyoming
Plenty of neon outside, bars stools made from saddles on the inside, as well as a bar top inlaid with silver dollars, lots of rustic knobby wood, and display cases with cattle skulls and old cowboy chaps. The place looks much the same as it did when it opened in the 1940s, minus the slot machines.
Also here: a grizzly bear in a glass case: casualty of a fight-to-the-death with hunting guide C. Dale Petersen, who killed the bear with a stick and his teeth.
