Napoleon Dynamite Statue
Los Angeles, California
Since its theatrical release in 2004, the high school comedy Napoleon Dynamite has endured as a cult film favorite, packed end-to-end with quotable lines and quirky characters living in the surreal world of Preston, Idaho. In June 2014, on the 10th anniversary, cast members assembled at Fox Studios in Los Angeles to unveil a life-size colored bronze statue of the title character (played by actor John Heder in his feature film debut).
Napoleon Dynamite wears his signature Moon Boots and "Vote for Pedro" t-shirt. He holds a tetherball.
Unfortunately, the statue is in a private Fox Searchlight Studios parking lot. Access is restricted to employees and business visitors.
