Squidward's House: Big Easter Island Head

Field review by the editors.

Wadena, Iowa

Nowhere near the bottom of the sea, this 25-foot-high Easter Island Head is modeled on Squidward's house from the SpongeBob SquarePants universe. It stands on someone's front lawn and has a wooden front door, although it's unlikely that any person or mollusk lives inside.

Why is this here? Well, perhaps it's because the head/house sits on the outskirts of Wadena, Iowa; and there's a Wadena County, Minnesota, that has a ghost town named Shell City; and there's a Shell City in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.

That may not be much of a connection, but it's the best that we could come up with.
