This a tourist trap in every good and money-sucking sense of the word. The self-proclaimed "thrilling walk-thru attraction" spans several rooms, featuring "Hollywood special effects."

Doc Holliday's spirit narrates a video, dummies -- some that were formerly in the Ghost Town at Knott's Berry Farm -- lurch around, and a hologram advises the gullible. Also, there are a lot of skeletons. One room recreates the Tombstone morgue of 1881, complete with wax corpses of recently deceased gunslingers. A genuine "haunted doll" was added to the attraction in 2022.

The Haunted Hotel is owned by Terry Ike Clanton, a descendant of one of the survivors from the gunfight at the O.K. Corral. That's credibility, Tombstone-style.
