Gigantar: Giant Electric Guitar

Created in New Jersey by Shannon MacDonald in 2022, Gigantar was then trucked 300 miles west and bolted to the outside of the Illinois Rock and Roll Museum on Route 66 in January 2023. It's 24 feet long and 10 feet across. The body is shaped like a Route 66 shield sign.

Shannon MacDonald was titled "the world's greatest Beatles artist" by the mayor of Liverpool. Rick Nelson of Cheap Trick (an Illinois band) turned on Gigantar's museum spotlight by flipping a switch on a huge electric guitar amp.
