Cowboy Bob: Muffler Man
Tulsa, Oklahoma
Cowboy Bob is the brainchild of Mary Beth Babcock, who also concocted the backstory for the Buck Atom Muffler Man only two blocks away on Tulsa's Route 66. According to Mary Beth, Bob is a honky tonk musician and "one of the classiest cowboys" who played Tulsa's Cain's Ballroom back in its countrified heyday, fell in love with city, and has decided to put down roots along Tulsa's Route 66. Cowboy Bob is also a walking advertisement: his western shirt, bolo tie, guitar, and "Happy Trails" boots all have connections to small businesses and craftspeople in Tulsa. He's 21 feet tall, was built by Mark Cline, and arrived in August 2025.
