As per my father Herbert Mida, my grandfather Albert Mida, delivered this bovine in a trailer to its destination in the 1950's I believe. I can remember seeing it as a kid in the 60's. He worked for Ford Motor Company and also sold real estate in the Belleville area. Not sure why or how he got involved in the delivery? I'll investigate further.

Here is a photo of the giant cow in Ypsilanti, Michigan. It's been there for years. I think I first saw it 20 years ago. I'm sure it was once a dairy store but now, as you see, Bessie seems to be pushing Budweiser.
