It looks like other miniature Statues of Liberty replicas seen on other courthouse lawns across the country -- except that it's been modified with a street lamp globe for its flame.

- From US 76/Hwy 515, turn at the stoplight at the McDonald's into town. Follow the signs to the Fannin County Courthouse, which is on W. Main St. The statue is on the front lawn.

Came by after doing some shopping in town. It is located by the court house and historical marker.

This Statue of Liberty is a pretty authentic replica, but it has an enormous "flame." It looks as if they used the globe of a street lamp for the flame. The Jaycees were the ones who originally erected this statue, and it was recently moved to the front of the old Fannin County Courthouse (which is next door to the new courthouse).
