The Tree Spirits are really fun to find. Directions take you to a private neighborhood. We parked and walked through, taking pictures. We went to the visitors center (which has one also) and they provide a map of the locations. We found several, fun searching for them.

Get the tree spirits map at the visitors center. The lady said it is the most common thing people ask about. Three of the seven tree carvings are in walking distance of the visitors center.

Stop in at the Golden Isles Welcome Center at 529 Beachview Drive (M-Sa 9-5, Su 12-5) and get a map to where all of the tree spirits are. We rented a golf cart and drove to all of the locations. We had a blast.

Really fun tracking these down. Directions in the description aren't very good. Save some time -- go to visitors center [for a map].

There is a new mermaid spirit near the visitor center.
