New development is well under way and most lots contain a home now. It was fun to search out the "spirits" but felt a little strange creepin' around the neighborhood. I'm not sure how many "spirits" are there to find, but we only saw two.

Map correction! Coming onto island on Kings Way make first right turn AFTER Fairway Drive. Park Loop is no longer there! Large group of the Tree Spirits are in an undeveloped development called Village Oaks.

Tree Spirits of St. Simons Island are eerie faces carved into oak trees by sculptor Keith Jennings. They are meant to represent sailors who drowned on ships made from St. Simons trees. People travel here just to see those things. They're all over the island.
