Building constructed as a Mayflower ship replica in the 1920s, with masts, fake decks, prow and stern. Boat structure had a life as a bar, restaurant, tourist gift shop, and now as a private home.

The house was built in the 1920s and is currently being restored by a single mother who is a Master Gardener. It's a private home, but there are plans to open a cafe.

Another vantage point of the boat-shaped house. We finally went by it again August of 2007 and discovered the view you see from Route 8 is actually the back side of the house. Looks better from that view, though, so not to worry!
[Lisa, 08/24/2007]This interesting house is shaped like a boat and very eye-catching if you can find it. It's a pretty wooded area so if you're not careful, you will miss it and have to turn around....like we did.
