Known as "The Magic Capital of the World", Colon, Michigan is the site of a magic supply house known as Abbott's Magic Co. It is in certain ways a successor to the Blackstone Magic Co. of Colon Michigan, as Percy Abbott was Harry Blackstone's partner in that original magic supply. But the partnership dissolved after a year and a half due to an unfortunate misunderstanding. A visitor to the shop on a summer Saturday afternoon can often find a short but entertaining magic show presented on a small stage. There may be a small "admission charge" for the show.
As a bonus, a number of magicians (including Harry Blackstone Jr. and his father Harry Blackstone Sr.) are buried in a cemetery just outside of Colon.Get a list/map of the graves at Abbott's (I don't think that there is a charge).
