We made a night stop to spot this giant Coke bottle. You can only see it from the road, as gates are locked. Kinda made me thirsty.

You can no longer get up close and personal with the giant rooftop Coke bottle in Hagerstown. Visitors are now greeted by a locked gate and an "Employees Only" sign. Definitely still worth a stop.

The giant Coke bottle from Frederick, MD is now on top of the Coca-Cola bottling plant in Hagerstown, MD.
[P. Robinson, 09/28/2010]It is not there anymore -- they moved it to Hagerstown MD a few months ago, to the new coke bottling plant and distribution center.
[grant, 09/03/2009]Sadly, this icon of Frederick has been removed and relocated to a warehouse in Hagerstown, MD. The owners say they intend to mount it on the Coke facility in that town. I had hoped that someone in town would obtain it and install it in a museum or gallery, but it was not to be.
