Great quarter-scale replica of the Hubble Space Telescope is in front of the government building in Edwin Hubble's hometown of Marshfield.

Right there on the courthouse lawn in Marshfield I came across this replica of the Hubble telescope. Edwin Hubble for whom the scope was named after was born in Marshfield in 1889 and went on to become renowned for determining that there were other galaxies beyond the Milky Way. It's an interesting tribute to a local fellow and nicely done too. It was dedicated July 4th, 1994.
