A gigantic Monopoly board is built into the ground of a spacious, outdoor park. A pair of monster-sized dice await nearby, calling to the "gamer" in all of us.

[Nix, 06/03/2005]It's a 930-sq. ft. Monopoly board in granite, part of a 3/4 acre "Monopoly in the Park" garden. The granite work was completed in 1992. The park took a bit longer, officially opening in 2002 in Discovery Meadow near the Children's Discovery Museum. Players wear goofy game pieces on their heads and roll giant dice to advance around the board. It can be reserved for group play or corporate team-building exercises.
