Milwaukie, Oregon: World War II Bomber Gas Station (Gone)
A surplus B-17 bomber was flown to Milwaukie in 1947 and installed as a canopy over some gas pumps. The bomber was taken down August 13, 2014, now considered to be too valuable to be a gas station awning.

Bomber Gas Complex - Wings of Freedom
There are other things to see at the Bomber Complex. There is a 30+ foot totem pole behind the restaurant, and a "Wings of Freedom Interpretive Center" on the grounds as well. The museum has the restored nose cone of the plane and other memorabilia from WWII.
