San Onofre Boobs - Nuke Power Towers

From the freeway...

Atom-busting bosoms are notoriously tough to photograph. The optimal illusion seems to be on freeway approach for a few seconds before the power cables, when stopping or even slowing down is not an option.

How could anyone describe these without mentioning that the nipples glow red at night? Best viewed when it's light enough to see the domes.

The nude beach is actually several miles south, at the south end of San Onofre state Beach. But you do drive by, closer and slower, on the way to the beach. (No legal parking with a good view of the boobs.)

Sorry -- we've apparently driven by at the wrong time of day!

This sight is infamous - nuclear reactors on the side of I-5 that look like two huge boobs. Scrolling around on the internet, I now see that they mark the spot of a nude beach below. Of course!
