Rundown house that nobody lives in now. I would not recommend this place.
[Laura Brinkley, 04/30/2022]
With all the growth around the house, it is difficult to tell from the ground that it has any special shape. However, with a drone, it is still pretty cool to see. Park in the church parking lot at the end of that street, and fly at 80 feet (to miss all trees in 2020) over one house to get your view.
[D Lovelady, 06/16/2020]I went to this guitar-shaped house as young teen. It was really nice. It was owned by local talent Dee Ford back in the 1970s. It's pretty cool to know I have been in this house!
[Angie Crawley Yard, 03/07/2018]Another musician, Elvis L. Carden, claims to have spent 16 years designing and building the house. It was featured on the cover of his 1999 album, "Living in an Old Guitar."
The guitar-shaped home does not appear to be to be for sale any more, but is still unoccupied.
[Glen, 04/24/2012]The guitar-shaped house is currently (as of Oct 2011) for sale. Asking price is $99,900, and needs a total renovation. Various real estate sites give different bits of info - while it's still for sale you can find it by searching for the MLS # 3079267.
