Stopped and spoke to the sister of the owner. Told her he should fix it up and rent it out on AirBnB! Nothing much to see. Can't go inside.

Was just by here on 5/3/18. It appears that the windmill blades are now gone, only leaving the lighthouse portion. The building looks forgotten and in need of repair. In its heyday it must have been a sight to see.
[Cathy Adler, 05/11/2018]The lighthouse/windmill is actually located in a spot called Griderville. I believe it was originally a motel. It has also been a restaurant and a gas station. It is now home to "Crazy Louie's Fireworks," who puts on an annual 4th of July fireworks show.
[R. Kinslow, 09/19/2005]Lighthouse/Windmill Building
I was buzzing down Highway 31 in Kentucky at dusk when I came across this place. It looks like a light house, but also like a windmill with some seriously cheesy blades. It probably was a gas station and restaurant back in the glory days of travel, but appears to be dealing in fireworks now. It is also the only thing in town -- so small a town I had to use nearby Horse Cave to get a zip code!
