Caboose Motel
We drove by the Caboose Motel in April and it appears to be in business and recently repainted. The grounds and cars all look very nice on the outside. Across the street is Grandma's Diner that is NOT a caboose but a metal diner. It's not open and had a "For Sale" sign.

Since 1986, the Caboose Motel has been Sean O'Keefe's vision. He painted red five old blue Conrail cabooses; each sleeps either five or six. "Each caboose has a volume controlled speaker that emulates train sounds." The Caboose Motel is out in the middle of nowhere and up for sale. The main sign is crudely painted (for a motel) and falling apart. There is another caboose across the street that is part of a restaurant, which looked pretty deserted during our stop.
