Probably most iconic drive-thru tree. Well work the stop. Big gift shop.
[Todd, 12/20/2018]We have a Nissan Armada and were not able to fit. But the nice guy at the gate told us most people back into the tree and "pretend." Also price has increased to $10 and I'm assuming maybe winter hours are until 5:30 pm.

I have been there twice and enjoyed the visit, especially when seeing nearby Confusion Hill. However, be forewarned: not all vehicles can get through the tree easily. I drive a minivan, and the only way it fit through involved scraping my mirrors (which I'd folded in). I am not mad at the folks that run the place, but if you are worried that you might not fit, and drive a larger vehicle, try walking through it for a photo instead!

$5 to see a drive-thru tree is probably worth it if you're in the area. The gift shop is unimpressive. But it is a redwood tree that you can drive through, so go ahead and do it if you get a chance.
