The fork is in front of a business, so I suggest going after hours or on the weekend if you want to take some goofy pics!

Come see the World's Largest Fork. It is easy to find and now there are lots of shops and places to eat close by in an area called Chesterfield Village. Afterward we went to see a basketball game with the Missouri State women's team; they are consistently ranked in the top 25.

Just an FYI, the restaurant where the fork once stood didn't fail in the traditional sense -- it was hugely popular. The customers wanted to eat on location, but the person who opened it envisioned everyone picking up food and going elsewhere. His vision wasn't realized, so he closed it, to the disappointment of his many customers. At least that's what people here say. All I know for certain is that business was booming, but one day there was a closed sign with no explanation and no warning.
The fork was moved eventually to where it is now, which is probably good to ease the sad reminder of the food that had been.
