Just visited and tomb hours appear to be until 5 per sign, but the tomb was closing at 4:54 and we couldn't go in.

When [done rubbing the lucky nose and] leaving the cemetery, there is a sign for war memorials. I would highly recommend taking a look at them.

Each Tuesday evening during the summer the 114th Infantry Regiment Illinois Volunteers present an authentic Civil War Flag Retreat Ceremony at Lincoln's Tomb. Bring folding chairs or blankets to sit out on the lawn.
After the ceremony, members of the 114th usually remain at the Tomb so visitors can ask questions or take photographs. My grandson was thrilled when one member offered to let him hold his rifle, and then presented him with a souvenir bullet.
