After a stop there today I discovered that Peterson's Service Center shut down 11 months ago. The building is empty and the sculptures are gone.

We stopped by and spoke with a lovely lady who told us most, almost all actually, of the sculptures have been sold. The Statue of Liberty and the bike are out front and we were told they will probably not sell them.

I call this "The Scrapture of Liberty." Great work of art. There are several other sculptures here that are great pieces of art, and I noticed several inside the building also.

The latest sculpture at Peterson's is an 8-ft. tall Statue of Liberty made completely of scrap.
