Having grown up seeing the Big Blue Bug, there is just one thing that I feel I should warn all future tourists about....When they "dress him up" in his Uncle Sam costume to commemorate the fourth of July holiday, the white beard makes it look like he is vomiting. Just thought everyone should be warned so they were not scared when passing it.

- On the south side of downtown, on the southbound side of I-95. Take exit 19 (Thurbers Ave.) Head either east to Allens Ave. or west to Eddy St., and take these north several blocks to O'Connell St. The bug is on the roof of Big Blue Bug Solutions (formerly New England Pest Control). Note: construction of interstate on-ramp makes frontal shots from the ground difficult.
