Wow. Well, it was worth a detour to see. This thing is definitely falling apart. I certainly wouldn't go in it. The guy was on the top portion, I suppose working on it. And his new addition seems to be a slow progression.
[Rachel, 06/12/2017]The new structure that Jody is building isn't progressing very rapidly. Luckily the two original saucers are still there for everyone to admire. Jody has also become a crime victim: someone stole his flatscreen TV, according to a sign that he posted in front of the saucers.

I stopped by and Jody was outside working on a new structure! He was a very nice gentleman who showed me around and let me climb all the way up to the tip to take pictures!

My kids and I visited the UFO welcome center today. Let me just say that Mr. Jody was such a trip to meet and chat with. It was so worth the trip to get to meet him and explore his spacecraft. He told us to bring the engine the next time we visited and we would blast off!

Definitely worth a stop. Not a place I would want to get stranded, but good for a laugh and a photo.
