The spaceship-shaped house that others have written about in Myrtle Beach is actually located in Garden City, which is about 15 miles south. It is on South Waccamaw Drive next to the Gulf Stream Cafe.
[Denise Manfredi, 08/24/2005]Are there a lot of the flying saucer-shaped houses out there, I'd guess in the hurricane areas of the east coast? There is a flying saucer house just beside our condo in the Myrtle Beach, SC area that no one in that area seems to know about. I have photos and videos of this large white UFO. We have gathered that it is a hurricane-proof structure from bits and pieces that locals have told us through the many years of vacationing there. But no one seems to know about the very house itself. For the first time in a decade, someone was living there and we noticed that lots of repairs had recently been made.
