The Roger Maris Museum is located in the mall because Roger himself asked for it to be placed where people from all walks of life could visit free of charge...because that was the kind of guy he was.
[GigiP, 08/15/2019]The Roger Maris' Museum has been updated, upgraded and now looks much, much better. There is a room set aside where you can watch movies and glean information on the famous baseball player (at least famous to us North Dakotans). His display cases were revamped a few years back, and over all it has a better feel to it.
There's still a salon, but it's across the hall. It's now neighbored by a cute little pet shop and takes up more of the wall. It's a great tribute to an amazing man.
