Los Angeles, California: Ocean Liner-shaped Building
Designed to look like an 1890s-era ocean liner, though not as ship-shape as we'd prefer. It's the HQ for Coca-Cola in LA.

The Coca Cola building was designed in the 1930s in the Streamline Moderne style that was then all the rage. 1890s ships would have looked more traditional. The interior was also built to resemble a ship. One corner of the building near the parking lot has a giant (fiberglass) Coke bottle. Somewhere, I have a picture of myself as a small child in front of that bottle (And if you're reading this, you already know that giant things make awesome photo-ops). On a personal note, my dad worked in this building when I was little. I can still remember him holding me up to the porthole window so I could look out (and I can still point out which porthole was his).

Just looks like the side of the ship, with the window shapes and paint. Would be cool if it was a full blown ocean liner.
