Unfortunately the Giant Maple Syrup jug is no longer out front. According to people at the museum, a couple of winters ago it froze and got a crack in it and the label fell off. The staff did say that it is "in the warehouse," so hopefully one day repairs will be made and it will be on display once again. The museum is still there along with a great gift shop featuring many locally-made items. A fun stop along a road trip!

More quirky ways to interact with maple syrup than you could ever imagine!

The museum recently added something to make more tourists want to stop and check this place out: a giant maple syrup container (I would say bigger then the one in northern Vermont). It's on the front lawn, luring in Route 7 traffic, sitting on a old wooden wagon!
