The Denver Museum of Nature & Science's hidden gnomes are really tiny creatures, only a couple inches tall, and virtually impossible to pick out without assistance.
[Robert MacLeay, 07/31/2010]Hidden in the Denver Museum of Nature & Science's dioramas are eight tiny gnomes that are painted into the dioramas (originally created sometime in the '70s). The artist used the gnomes as his signature - for something fun and different.
When I was in elementary school, the best part of going to the museum was trying to find the gnomes (like "Where's Waldo" on a grand scale), but will all the newbies in Denver nobody seems to know or remember that they are still there. They are!
