At 68 feet tall, the Largest Cactus in Massachusetts still stands. It was once the sign for the Hilltop Steak House, razed in 2013. The sign was saved and repurposed by developers who took over the land and created a small group of retail shops and apartments. It's in beautiful shape and in a great location to pull over into the parking area and walk out to the sign.

With the restaurant razed, most of the lot is blocked off with dividers except for a small pull-off where you can temporarily park to snap a photo

We drove past this giant cactus sign on Route 1 this week, and although the site of the restaurant was completely leveled, the sign is still standing. According to local media the new owners are keeping the sign, which is 68 feet tall.
