Rival to Roe River for Shortest River in the World is Oregon's D-River with an average length of just 120 feet. Problem, though, is that it is between Devil's Lake and the Pacific Ocean -- so with tides it can be anywhere from 205 feet to 58 feet long. Entirely in the city limits of Lincoln City on US 101, this State Park is also the city's beach -- and once on the beach, the D-River is the one that is very easy to wade across.
