Barefoot, with a pot on his head and a goofy expression. Ten feet tall and in need of repair. The apple-focused restaurant he stood in front of closed in Oct. 2016, but Johnny was still standing in 2023.

Johnny Appleseed is starting to fall apart, and doesn't talk anymore.

Johnny still stands outside the closed restaurant (which is adjacent to the Quality Inn). He's looking kinda tired of planting apples, and in need of some paint. But he evoked a smile from my 29-year-old daughter, who had been in an elementary school play about Johnny Appleseed about 20 years ago.
