Steven is still knocking on the door for donuts. It's his ninth year! This year's new addition: he has a pigeon posse! He chases off all other birds but has let two pigeons hang around. He still won't let them eat but they try to steal food from him anyway. He has been here quite often each day this spring.

The Super 8 Motel of Duluth has a gull they call "Steven Seagull" that has returned for the 4th year this year that knocks on the glass front door for doughnuts. He chases away other gulls. When they feed him small pieces of doughnut, he will catch them in the air. In April 2006 Steven was mentioned in all the local newspapers and TV stations and even was featured on CNN.
