The big pencil is lookin' good. We went in the office supply store and met the nicest lady inside...she gave us some freebies, which was cool.

From Pulaski, 22 miles south on Route 11, Wytheville Office Supply suspends The Big Pencil above it's awning. Sure, it makes sense from a marketing standpoint (Well, at least more sense than the giant barber's shears inside; which were brought over, I think, when a local barber shop closed). But it's still a local landmark.
