These are not your ordinary cartoonish carvings, although you can find that here, too. These guys are artists. They had just come back from a five day carving contest and they took first and fourth place. The winners were still tied down on their trailer out back.
Prices for large and small carvings are a fraction of gallery prices. We left with a realistic otter that we will finish ourselves.

I love, love, Love this place! Classic chainsaw carvings, and they've got tons of them. I really wanted the $3,000 Bigfoot, but I couldn't afford it, so I bought a Tiki statue. There were three guys there carving and eager to talk to visitors.

Most of the sculptures are Sasquatch and bears, but you'll find a nice dragon or mermaid if you wander around. The place smells fantastic! The lady who runs the wine tasting store next door is very nice and happy to answer all of your questions in the event George is in the middle of one of his classes.

Very cool spot in Washington State. Easy to find and very entertaining. Made for tourists. Big wood sculptures carved with chainsaws. Over 500 unique carvings by more than 12 different artists. All carved with a chainsaw. Very Northwest.
